WLIRING Optical area profile measurement inside bores and on the outer face of small cylindrical workpieces
The WLIRAD measurement system lends itself for the fast and accurate measurement of surface profiles and the quantitative calculation of roughness parameters, the micro structure and other surface features on the inner or outer faces of cylindrically shaped workpieces.
It features an extended microscopical 3D measurement mode with numerous options like zoom, marking of invalid data points, various measurement modes as well as object adapted measurement area and camera sizes. The instrument was developed to give the best possible resolution and provide an excellent measurement fidelity.
The measurement and evaluation program can be automated. Line profiles can be extracted from the area surface profile in all possible orientations. Optionally software modules to measure the roundness, roughness and cylindricity are available.
The measurement head can also be used directly in the production line. No movable parts are inside the head. During the measurement the head is stationary and the object can move or both can be stationary.
The instrument design can be adapted to the measurement task.
